Schedule: Monday–Saturday | 6:00 AM – approximately 12:00 PM
Compensation: $5 per stall | Paid monthly on the 1st of each month
Stable Minds Management is seeking an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Stall Cleaner/Barn Assistant to join our team at our busy full-service equestrian facility in Castro Valley.
This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming a long-term opportunity for the right individual.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
Have previous experience cleaning stalls at a professional equestrian facility.
Be physically capable of cleaning 20–30 stalls per day, while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Be able to consistently report to work Monday through Saturday at 6:00 AM sharp. Reliability and punctuality are non-negotiable.
Have reliable transportation.
Be self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision.
Provide at least two verifiable equestrian employment references.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Thoroughly cleaning horse stalls each morning.
Removing all manure and wet bedding.
Re-bedding stalls using the provided Eco Flake and Mini Flake shavings as needed.
Leaving every stall clean, dry, and comfortable for each horse.
Maintaining clean barn aisles and work areas.
Working efficiently while following ranch procedures and maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
