Bella is a lovely bay mare with a background in dressage and beautiful, expressive gaits. She is USA-bred, IALHA registered, and was bred by Cynthia Bell of Silver Bell Lusitanos in California.

Bella was schooled through Third Level and shown through First Level with a 15-year-old junior rider. She has particularly excelled in lateral work and has a lovely, expressive trot with good suspension and articulation. Her canter has good jump and natural ability to sit, and she has a green flying change.

Bella has not been ridden regularly in some time and is being offered as a project for an experienced home or as a broodmare prospect.

Bella has a documented history of cervical radiculopathy & several superficial digital flexor tendon injuries throughout her life.

Her veterinary history includes:

* October 2017 — SDFT injury
* April 2019 — SDFT tendinopathy
* December 2021 — SI region treatment
* January 2022 — partial SDFT tear

Because of this history, Bella is not being represented as a horse for a demanding competition career. She is best suited to a knowledgeable home that understands her limitations and is comfortable managing her appropriately. She may be suitable for light riding with an experienced rider.

We believe she has value as a potential broodmare prospect as she has so many lovely traits to pass down.

Bella is current on routine veterinary care, including teeth, vaccinations and shoeing. She does have a fly allergy and does best without access to lush pasture.
