What’s not to love??

Rocky-3 yr old Dappled Seal Bay Andalusian/Friesian/Noriker gelding, 15h (and still growing)

I've had the priveledge of working with this beautiful smart boy for the past two years. Unfortunately due to owners health he is being offered for sale.

He's super smart, has good movement and wants to please.
Mane and tail for days, barefoot with good feet, nice bone, conformation and just all the way around as pretty as can be.

UTD on vaccines, feet and dentals (6 month dental due and arranging appt)

Cross ties, stands for farrier, good for shots and was well behaved when clipped around muzzle and under jaw.

Trailered only once from previous ranch to current home, walked right in, rode well and backed out nicely.

Handles great on the lunge line, very responsive with round pen work and groundwork. Will side pass to and away from you on the ground, pony’s great, backs beautifully (in and out of gates too, etc), yields front and hind end no problem.

Gets along well with other horses in turn out. Prefers having friends. Good for baths and loves to play with the water. He’s not mean but does have a playful side that could turn into a negative if in the wrong persons’ hands, so being clear with boundaries is a must!

Green-Slowly started under saddle. Saddles well and you better have the bit ready because his mouth will be open when he sees it. Will side up to any mounting area for you to get on, soft lateral flexion, good one rein stop from all speeds, will happily walk, trot, lope on cue, stop, back up, moves front and hind end. Has had 5 different riders on him under my guidance and he’s remained the same for all riders.

Rode him out on the trail for the first time two days ago (see videos), up hill, down hill, walk and trot. He chose to take the lead with confidence and was incredibly rational over anything that gave him concern. Never refused to go forward when asked and was interested enough to touch anything he was unsure of on his own. I was super impressed!!

This is a really really nice horse but he is green and will need to continue his training. Because of this he will sell to intermediate/advanced riders only, preferably with a trainer to continue his training.

Will remain in training until sold.

Currently 12,5XX but will go ⬆️ with more life experiences and training
