HORSE GROOM / BARN ASSISTANT — Private Facility, Carmel Valley
Private dressage facility seeking an experienced part-time independent contractor groom. All horses receive competition-level care.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:45 AM to 1:45 PM
Responsibilities: Daily horse care and handling, turnout and bring-in, monitoring health and behavior, equipment maintenance, general facility upkeep.
Requirements: Competition horse experience required. Calm, patient, and educated handling including rehabilitation horses. Keen observation skills, detail oriented, reliable, professional, and able to follow established routine and protocols.
This position suits someone who takes pride in doing things right, respects an established program, and willingness to learn.
Compensation: $25/hr. Independent Contractor
