ISO Part-Time Horse Lease – Portola Valley / Saratoga Area

Hi everyone - I’m looking for a part-time 2-3 days per week lease in the Portola Valley or Saratoga areas.

I’ve always felt a deep, natural connection to horses and being around them feels so natural and grounding. I’m getting back into the saddle after many years away and I’m currently taking lessons to rebuild my foundation.  I have 10 years of horse ownership experience, including daily riding, small shows, jumping, and even a few years of vaulting.

I value spending time with the horse as much as riding so I’m up for anything from mucking out a stall to being adventurous and exploring the trails.  Just being around horses feeds my soul in a way that’s difficult to describe but easy for other horse lovers to understand.

I’m looking for a relaxed, connection-focused experience with a horse that is well-mannered, responsive with a nice forward feel that’s a good match for a returning intermediate rider and versatile enough for trails and light arena work.  If possible, I’d like to continue lessons so I can stay in tune with my riding and make sure I’m reinforcing good habits for us both.
