Arabian mare

17 year old Arab Bay Mare. She is one of Khemosabe's granddaughters. I obtained "Shadow" 9 years ago from a barn where she was in a state of neglect. She was fine physically, but had been stalled for over a year with little work. She is now located at my small farm in Corralitos, CA. I have trained and shown horses in the past and I worked with her. She is great on the ground with grooming, vet, and farrier and lunges easily. She is also easy under saddle and goes English or Western (neck reins well). She responds well to leg yields and she has begun learning some dressage moves (side passing). She is smart, smart, smart! Her issue is that she does not do well in a stall due to her past neglect in a stall. She is much better in pasture or a very large paddock. She comes when called by whistle. She is 100% sound and an easy keeper with excellent hooves. She is not high strung. I have never had the vet out for her for any illness. I am only selling because I am retiring and moving to Delaware. I want to find a loving home that she deserves.
