Understand how horses think, feel, and move. A two-day, hands-on workshop combining brain science (paint a horse brain), nervous system regulation tools for horses, biomechanics, and applying the learned tools during riding.
Join experienced equestrian coach Agi Yother (“Ride With Your Mind”) and neuroscientist Dr. Beatrix Krause-Sorio (Stanford School of Medicine) for a two-day, hands-on workshop exploring how neuroscience, biomechanics, and emotional regulation shape equine behavior and performance.
This immersive experience blends science-based education, creative activity in a relaxing pasture environment, and practical riding tools to help riders better understand how horses perceive stress, process information, and respond to their environment.
Day 1 focuses on equine brain science (paint your own horse brain) and nervous system regulation techniques using art and experiential learning.
Day 2 applies these principles through rider biomechanics, body awareness, and under-saddle practice.
Designed for kids, parents, owners, instructors, and grooms, this workshop offers simple, effective methods to improve safety, communication, and harmony—on and off the horse.
Suitable for all levels of riding and horsemanship. No previous art experience needed.
Fees/Pricing:
$200 bring your own horse (+ boarding $50 a night if needed)
