🐴 Come ride with Silicon Valley IEA!

Our Western IEA team is accepting new riders throughout the season—you don’t have to wait until next year to join! We’re based at the Horse Park at Woodside and welcome riders in grades 4–12.

IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) gives riders the opportunity to compete as individuals and as a team without owning a horse! Horses are provided at shows and assigned by a draw. Western events include Horsemanship, Ranch Riding, and Reining, with classes based on riding level.

Our team focuses on building riding skills, confidence, good sportsmanship, and friendships along the way. Have an English riding background? We’d love to help you explore Western!
