For consideration: Callie, a 10-year-old, homozygous black, purebred Andalusian mare registered with IALHA. She is a proven broodmare and has previous experience in three-day eventing.

This lovely mare is gentle, intelligent, personable, and easy to catch. She is alert, engaged, willing, and attentive. Respectful on the ground, she enjoys attention and stands quietly for the farrier.  She’s an easy keeper with a kind disposition and a soft eye.

Callie has had the past year off, a mix of my life circumstances and some needed time to rest. She’s not currently in condition and will need a gradual, loving reintroduction to work. Think of her as being on sabbatical—ready to come back with the right guide. She’s not a high-performance prospect or a lesson horse, and not a quick resale. She’s a soulful, honest partner for someone who values connection, consistency, and a calm, structured restart.
