Call for IEA riders for the 2025-26 season (and beyond!)
Adult riders are encouraged as well!
Half Leases Available! Oasis Farm at beautiful Portola Farms, Woodside.
Oasis Farm has a long standing tradition with developing riders and hosts an active and inclusive team environment. We have room for several riders who are interested in learning the ropes of American Jumping style, solid horsemanship and who thrive in a team environment.
We have a number of horses available for on going half leases, all of whom are available to show at local schooling shows for lease holders. Half leases are a perfect means of stepping into the training program, developing a connection with your horse and feeling part of the show team. For riders wanting to compete in the IEA season, this is an ideal way to get a competitive edge. All of our riders who desired to show competitively graduated from our half lease program to have their own show mount(s).
Nemo (16.1h) is a sensitive school master who can teach the finesse. He is looking for a light rider who has confidence and wants to develop their feel.
Cruz (16.1h) is a brave and steady boy who has taken a number of our riders as owners from x-rails to .90m and 3’. He now an Oasis Farm horses and is looking for the right rider who is willing to partner with him, learn the feel and develop with him. Ideal for a rider learning to jump.
Jones (15.2h) is an older school master who is best suited for adults who have some riding experience and want to learn advanced flat work. He knows all the laterals and can still do tempe changes. He is a smaller horse and well suited for a rider of smaller stature.
Bridgette (16.1h) is our grande dame. She is an older draft mare who really is in retirement, yet loves to be the center of attention. She is a confidence builder and is wonderful to take on short trail rides on property. If you need horse time and a good ear, she’s a wonderful partner.
Pricing is dependent upon use. Half leases on performance horses available. For more modest riding goals, we are open to discussing tailoring programs.
