Dreamy TB Gelding Looking for Perfect Match!

I'm selling my big boy. He’s a looker, a nickerer, and a mares’ gelding. The ladies here love him! But after having him just over 6 months, I have come to the difficult realization that he is too much horse for me at this time in my life. And not what I’d been looking for after an 18-year break from horses.

Hank is 12 years old, 16.2hh, and has that sleek, athletic TB build. He's a big puppy dog a lot of the time. He's a perfect arena horse and could go in absolutely any direction there. His gaits are big and beautiful, just like he is.

Here's the truth I came to find in my time with him:

PROS
-He's a foodie and a sweetie. In your pocket horse.
-I trusted my husband on him in the arena.
-He's great with other horses. Truly.
-Ties forever without a peep. No pull back in him at all.
-Loves butt and belly scratches!
-Wants to understand what you want and do it for you on the ground.
-Loves his person visiting him, nickers for you and runs to you.
-Easy to catch!
-UTD on shots, teeth, and feet.

CONS
-Dislikes trails
-Kicks out in protest if you try to clean his sheath
-Has some scarring on his front legs due to an old barbed wire accident

He would be best suited for a confident rider. What I've seen is that he goes very well and is quiet in the arena. Perfect, in fact. I had my husband on him and when he dismounted (not a horse person) the saddle slid down on his side and Hank just STOOD THERE quietly. I was astounded. So that tells me he's got a good mind.

If I wanted to show him, it’d be a no-brainer, because I love him. But as I was specifically looking for a trail horse to explore all of nature with, we’re not a good match. And so I hope to find him a home with a person that wants to ride at home and maybe even jump a few fences. If you're not trail riding, he's literally perfect. His movements are truly gorgeous!

That said, he’s definitely a pleaser and a quick learner. He's showy and a beauty! Maybe he's your next dream horse.
