Crest Ridge 16" W Ardent Series Saddle

This is a 20 year old Crest Ridge Full Leather Ardent Series Wide tree saddle with a 16” seat.  The Ardent was reintroduced as The Sentry so they both have the same tree measurements.  This saddle is in good to very good condition, it does show wear as you would expect, but there are no rips or tears in the leather and it has been stored in an inside tack room with a cover for added protection.
The Crest Ridge Ardent Series is a western saddle, specifically designed for comfort on long trail rides. This design aims to keep the rider balanced and secure for extended periods of riding.
The Sentry is an affordable, high quality saddle. We use a modified J-bar tree in the Sentry. The Crest Ridge modified J-bar tree has stood the test of time. First seen in the saddles dating back to 1880, it was originally designed specifically for mules and narrow-bodied animals. This time tested and true tree has proven its worth in the thousands of animals able to remain sound with heavy use. The Sentry comes with endurance stirrups standard.
The tree is solid pine wrapped in fiberglass.Sheepskin lining.Jockey, skirts and fenders are all #1 leather.Seat is covered in glove leather and padded with SupraCor.Leather billets.Endurance stirrups.Weight is approximately 20-25 pounds depending on fender choice. I do have the original leather fenders.
