Half Percheron Half Quarterhorse

Holy Smoke, 6 years old.  He is absolutely sound and beautiful.

Walk, Trot, Canter, back up ,side pass,  stops on Whoa.  He is very happy in the arena. He enjoys obstacles and works well at liberty.  He has always been barefoot and has never shown signs of "ouchiness" on the road or trail.His gaits are smooth.  He can be ridden with a halter or bosal.

He would be a winner at Cowboy or Western Dressage.  He goes on the trial confidently with another horse.  He stands like a statue when being mounted and dismounted.  He ties patiently.  I believe Holy Smoke could be a loved lesson horse for intermediate riders.  He could also be a supervised lesson horse for new adult riders.  With practice he has proven to be a willing obstacle class participant.

This draft/quarter horse combination has given us sound and strong and steady  willing horses to ride.
