ANIMALS IN NEED IN SUNOL!, I have been trying for three months to find a place to move my rescue cats (in their portable barn) plus my mix of six ponies and two donkeys; some are also rescues. They have their own portable fencing etc. I've boarded for over 35 years at a facility in Sunol that is now closing. Hundreds of neighborhood outreach letters have yielded poor results and flyers placed at various feed and tack facilities all over the bay area have resulted in a bizarre amount of people thinking I am trying to give the animals away; which any animal organization would advise against. If you have a place available, let's talk. There are three other boarders I'd vouch for who also need accommodation, I'd be happy to elaborate. ISO Barn for Lease, Hello!
I am currently looking for a barn / horse facility that is available for lease or rent for 2 budding professionals. We are looking in the Sonoma county area - ideally we are looking in the Santa Rosa / Sebastopol area but are open to travelling a reasonable distance from either area! We are looking for a place with the capacity to house 8-12 horses, preferably with some turnout areas or space to build small turn outs. The facility will need access to an arena - covered arena and round pen are preferred, but definitely not essential. We are open to renting the space on a small, private property or rent a barn at an existing larger location. We are looking only to *rent* the space - so we would be responsible for purchasing all the feed, bedding, etc and responsible for all horse car, 707-799-1597, Send e-mail to advertiser, Send this ad to a friend, AD ID: 203283, Santa Rosa, California, Submitted On: 03/22

Quiet, responsible couple seeking cottage on horse property in the East Bay, My partner and I are seeking a small, affordable place to rent in the East Bay. I am an equine veterinary assistant and barefoot trimmer. My partner is a woodworker. We are mature, responsible, and quiet. We love nature and animals and would love to rent a little place on a horse property. We have been living in Berkeley for the past 7 years and would like to get away from the city for more peace and quiet. I am skilled and experienced with horses, and would be willing to offer my skills in exchange for a reduction in rent – feeding, mucking stalls, turning horses out, etc. References available if needed. We would prefer a small house or cottage - no trailers - as we have some furniture. If you have a place like this available, I’d love to hear from you., 707-480-5562, Send e-mail to advertiser, Send this ad to a friend, AD ID: 203260, Berkeley, California, Submitted On: 03/17, Revised: 03/18

ISO Private/quiet boarding facility for sweet, 6yo mare, Private Treaty, Will Barter, Seeking a quality boarding situation for my QH mare. We are currently in a busy training barn but I prefer a more quiet, peaceful atmosphere where safety and excellent care are the top priority. She is fairly green, so ideally there needs to be somewhere safe and enclosed to ride. She is very well behaved in her stall/paddock, gets along with just about everybody and is not mare-ish. I work full time, so am out evenings and weekends. I can happily pitch in with evening and weekend barn chores if needed. Most importantly I want her to be happy and well taken care of so we can both stress a little less! Anywhere within a 45 min drive of Martinez, price is very flexible for the right situation. Please email with location and info about what you have available. Thank you! :), Send e-mail to advertiser, Send this ad to a friend, AD ID: 203206, Benicia, CA, Submitted On: 03/16
